Level One: Somatic Synergist Program
Training modules
This newly-developed course provides a foundation in the Rubenfeld Synergy Method. You will learn the underlying principles of RSM and the basic skills needed to effectively work with clients using listening touch.
The successful completion of this level leads to a professional designation in the practice of RSM. Once the requirements of this program are met, Synergists can apply to the International Association of Rubenfeld Synergists (INARS) for certification as a Certified Somatic Synergist.
Personal experience with RSM is an essential piece of learning how to do this work. Students must take 8 private RSM sessions . Our training institute will help you locate a certified Synergist in your area, or provide a practitioner to do these sessions at the onsite modules. The cost of these sessions is not included in course tuition.
Curriculum and Materials
Enrolment in this 140 hour foundations includes:
- 10 instructionalCD/ DVDs of the 10 body/mind sequences which heighten awareness
- 5 RSM demonstration videos by founder, Ilana Rubenfeld and Master Synergists Joe Weldon & Noel Wight
- Students will participate in 15 teleconference classes. These introduce the basic principles of RSM, the role of touch in human development and its importance in the healing process. Additional teleconference classes will address business development issues including marketing and practice-building techniques.
- 2 week-long on-site, hands-on learning experiences with an outstanding faculty as well as Co-directors Joe Weldon & Noël Wight
- Practice client sessions
- 5 individual mentoring sessions
- 1 student handbook
The entire course costs $2495.00.*
*Travel, room and board are not included in the cost of tuition, nor are the 6 private RSM sessions each student is required to take per level.
