Joe Weldon and Noël Wight are RSM therapists and master synergists who treat clients in their Philadelphia area practice.
Touch is the key
During our Rubenfeld sessions clients usually lie fully clothed on a cushioned table, but may also sit in a chair. We use a combination of gentle, listening touch and talk to bring them into heightened awareness of their body and experiences.
Warmth and security
Together we create a safe, accepting and confidential environment where thoughts, feelings and beliefs may emerge in their own time and in their own unique way. These become the starting points for exploring how we help our clients move towards wholeness and well being. We follow their lead in an intuitive way, using our skills and experience to help them find their own inner wisdom.
Awareness and freedom
RSM’s listening touch offers a powerful tool to access and acknowledge feelings and images that have been hidden in the body for years, creating tension, pain and distorted perceptions. Repressed tears, anger, grief, and much else may be re-experienced and released during a session, offering freedom for new ways of being.
The length of a typical session is 45 to 50 minutes. The number and frequency of sessions is individually determined.
